Everybody knows the "Three Wise Monkeys" symbolizing the wisdom that ensures a peaceful life: one covers his eyes, the other his ears, and the third his mouth. This philosophy was adopted by Gandhi as a universal truth: "see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil".  Far Eastern philosophy has been presented by three figurines of young Buddhas.
