The drinking bowls do not have drainage holes. They should be adequately protected against water remaining during negative temperature. Inadequate protection can damage the shell or the bowl due to a simple physical phenomenon related to the increase (by 9.2%) in the volume of water (liquid) during the phase change into ice (solid)!
